Holiday shopping is a spirited and bustling annual tradition that brings people together in a festive atmosphere. As the holiday season approaches, streets are adorned with twinkling lights, and stores transform into magical destinations, enticing shoppers with vibrant displays and cheerful music.
Consumers eagerly embark on a quest to find the perfect gifts for their loved ones, navigating crowded malls and online marketplaces in search of thoughtful treasures. Why not take a stroll down Robson Street this year?
Robson Street dates back to the late 1800’s and was one of the first streets established in Vancouver. Named in honour of John Robson, Premier of British Columbia from 1889-1892. When tracks were laiid along Robson to Jervis Street, a wide variety of small specialized shops sprang up to serve Vancouver’s rapidly growing population, and Robson became a vibrant community.
Today it is Vancouver’s most iconic shopping and dining destination, complete with fashion and beauty flagships, lifestyle stores, cafés, patios, and fine dining. This bustling stretch of Vancouver attracts thousands of locals and visitors from around the world.
I had the pleasure of previewing some of the great shops including Kiehls, Herschel, Athleta, Knix and trying some of the tasty treats from D’Oro Gelato E Caffe and Little Cafe on Robson! Check out my Instagram post here!
