Playland, Vancouver’s iconic amusement park, reopened its gates in June, welcoming guests back for safe, clean fun. Admission includes unlimited rides and unlimited good times!
Playland has always been a summer must-do. It’s a fun afternoon or evening for everyone. There are many rides for kids and families to enjoy together, like Tea Cups, Honeybee Express, Bug Whirled, and Balloon Explorers. But this year, guests can also find some new and updated attractions!
1.Adventures in Happyland
For this summer only, Playland and BCAA are taking you on a magical journey…. Get sucked down the rabbit hole into a storybook world where you’ll encounter enchanted creatures, explore a neon forest, be invited for tea, take some selfies, and ultimately escape the labyrinth.
The Adventures in Happyland exhibit is included with Playland passes. As safety is their top priority, masks are strongly recommended while enjoying this walk-through experience.
2.Sweet Escape Mini Golf
Grab your putter and make your way through this newly themed mini-golf course. Cross over bridges, pass a water feature, and go through the Candy Cane Forest to conquer every challenge along the course. Try to level up your game by putting backward, on one leg, or with your eyes closed! With giant lollipops, candies, and pieces of cake, you’ll be craving a sweet treat by the 18th hole.
3. New Mini Donut flavours
You don’t want to leave the park without trying the new iced mini donuts! There is a new feature every week. The classic cinnamon & sugar ones are still there too.
Playland is open from Thursday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. You can also enjoy the lights of the rides at night on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-11 pm. A Fun Pass is $29.50 and includes all the kids & family rides. A Thrill Seeker Pass is $39.50 and includes the thrill rides too (for those with a minimum height of 48” tall).
There is a limited capacity in the park, enhanced cleaning protocols, hand sanitizer before and after each ride, and masks are strongly recommended on rides, in lines, and while playing games. Pro tip: Playland is now cashless so bring your debit or credit card for purchases on site.
If you’re looking for a day filled with fun, definitely bring the family to Playland and enjoy the rides, snacks, games, and excitement!
Due to the limited capacity in the park, passes must be purchased in advance. More info at pne.ca/playland/. Tickets at ticketleader.ca/.
