The program kicks off on June 10 and anyone who enrols between June 1 and July 1 will be part of the end-of-season shows on the amazing outdoor stage at The Shipyards in North Vancouver on August 31st and September 1st.
School of Rock Season Themes:
Adult Program: “Can-Con Canadian Classics” – Celebrate iconic Canadian artists like Bryan Adams, Joni Mitchell, and The Tragically Hip.
Youth Programs: “One-Hit Wonders” – Rock out to unforgettable hits from the past.
Little Wing, Rookies & Rock 101: Perform some of the biggest rock songs of all time.
Through School of Rock’s unique patented programs, students are transformed. They receive weekly one-on-one lessons tailored to their instrument—guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, or vocals across genres—while also participating in weekly group rehearsals with their bandmates. This dual approach ensures that students not only refine their individual skills but also gain confidence to be a real rock star!
Through the Performance Program, students are assigned songs and parts that are chosen for them based on their age, experience, and ability to learn new skills and concepts. Students then work through their parts in their weekly private music lessons and refine the skills and concepts that those songs introduce. The goal of this curriculum is to prepare kids and teens for their live performances at the end of the season.
Don’t miss this chance to shine on stage and create lasting memories. Spots are filling up fast!
