Last year, there were some big changes brought to Playland. This year, get more scream time at Playland, where you’ll find thrills the algorithm could only dream of. The Playland season started in June and runs until August 18. Now Playland is open from 1-5PM Wednesday-Sunday and 6-11PM on both Fridays and Saturdays.
Tickets this season start at just $33 if you buy online, and there are two pass types – one for people seeking thrills and one for people who prefer tamer rides. So whether you’re here to ride the Sea to Sky Swinger, Atmosfear, the Kettle Creek Mine Coaster, or Cedar Rapids Log Flume, there’s something at Playland for every guest.
When guests are ready for a break from going to rides, they can head over to Sweet Escape Mini Golf and compete against one another for top scores, head to the climbing wall to see who can get the highest, wind your way through a maze in the Glass House, get spooked in the Haunted Mansion, or play a round of games on the Midway games where they can win enough giant teddy bears for the whole family at fun games like Derby Downs, Pop Gun, or Whac-a-Mole. The Haunted Mansion and Midway games are available for an extra cost.
Playland also has new ice cream flavours, a brand new noodle bar, feature hot dogs, and iced mini donuts – just to name a few of the delicious items you can enjoy during your day at the park.
