Big Backyard Bioblitz
Join a Canada-wide science project this August long weekend!
From July 27 to Aug. 3, the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is encouraging families to get outside and snap photos of the wildlife around them.
The Big Backyard Bioblitz is accessible for all ages — think of it like a scavenger hunt in nature!
Every observation logged helps NCC and others get a better sense of species at risk and invasive species in Canada. These data inform conservation and stewardship decisions.
