The Cove: A Sensory-Friendly Indoor Play Oasis for Families in
A new indoor play space in New Westminister.

Kids and the young at heart will enjoy films from BC, Canada, and around the world at this year’s festival. In-person screenings can be found at the Roundhouse Community Centre and Vancity Theatre. The films can also be streamed online from anywhere in BC.
To kick off the festival the opening film is the funny and quirky local movie Drinkwater, starring Eric McCormack (Will & Grace). Suitable for 13+yrs
Set in small-town British Columbia, Mike Drinkwater (Daniel Doheny), lives with his idiosyncratic and mostly absent dad, Hank (Eric McCormack)–both in desperate need of a role model.
The Closing film is the Quebec production, The Time Thief. Suitable for ages 11+
In 1988, in Saint-Élie-de-Caxton, an eleven-year-old boy is worried for his grandmother’s life. Ill and weakened, the elderly storyteller tries to convince her grandson that Death no longer exists.
This film is only available for in-person showings
Located at Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown – this all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast starts at 10am. Viewers will find a short-film program, an Indigenous Spotlight, workshops in three different styles of animation, and the Youth Filmmakers Showcase. Enjoy it all for only $7.
