Soccer in the Square 2026 Watch Party at Wesbrook Village, UBC

Vancouver’s West Side is getting a Family Friendly big screen for the big games!

UBC Properties Trust is bringing the energy of the global soccer stage to the heart of Wesbrook Village with Soccer in the Square, a free, all-ages outdoor viewing fan zone.

From June 12 to July 19, fans young and old can catch live matches on the big screen at Norman MacKenzie Square, gathering under a shaded tent with picnic seating to cheer on their favourite teams.

The space will offer a casual, family-friendly atmosphere with picnic tables, pups on leashes, kids’ lawn games, music, food trucks, soccer trivia, and easy takeout from nearby spots including Nicli Pizzeria + Bar, Togo Sushi, and Sports Illustrated Clubhouse.

Throughout the tournament, all-ages soccer trivia, games and activities will be hosted by award-winning emcee Jordan Wade, who will bring his high-energy hosting style to the square.
