Healthy Climate Solutions Fair
A fireside chat with children’s singer Raffi will be one of the remedies for climate anxiety at the Healthy Climate Solutions Fair on Sept. 5 in Vancouver. Record heat and wildfires have taken a toll on people’s physical and mental health across the province this summer. Doctors and nurses are responding with a community prescription for climate action. The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment and Canadian Association of Nurses for the Environment are hosting this free family-friendly event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Olympic Village. At the fair, health care workers and more than a dozen organizations will show visitors how they can take action for a healthier future.
