Family Art in the Garden: Let’s Draw Pond Animals!
Join illustrator Bea Martin at VanDusen Botanical Garden for a fun, all-ages family drawing workshop: Let’s Draw Pond Animals! While being guided through the drawing workshop with easy-to-follow steps, and learning tips and tricks, we will take a walk around the Garden ponds, drawing and sketching the plants and animals we find along the way, including turtles, dragonflies, ducks and water lilies! Sketching first in graphite pencil, Bea will offer guidance on how to add colour to your finished drawings. At the end of the workshop, participants will take their creations home.
Not an artist? No problem! All skill levels are welcome in this family-friendly workshop.
Materials are included, however, participants are welcome to come with their own sketchbooks and preferred drawing materials.
Registration must be purchased for EACH Adult & Child for admission to the program. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult for this program.
