PJ Kids Club

Founded in 1981, PJ Kids Club is a non-profit organization that has been proudly serving the North Shore community for over 43 years. They offer high-quality childcare services for children aged 2.5 to 11 years old.

During the school year, their enriching and nurturing preschool program features two dedicated classes: one for children aged 2.5 to 4 years, and another for children aged 4 to 5 years. With decades of experience providing early learning opportunities, they are committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports all families.

Their approach focuses on fostering a sense of belonging, building meaningful connections with children and their families, and inspiring curiosity and respect for others and the environment. Learning happens spontaneously, driven by each child’s natural creativity and motivation. This is all guided by their experienced and caring Early Childhood Educators, whose focus is the overall well-being of every child.

They are located on the beautiful grounds of Pauline Johnson in Dundarave. Their bright, naturally lit portables and spacious outdoor deck provide a comfortable and engaging setting—rain or shine. Each of their preschool classes are limited to 16 children to ensure a warm and attentive atmosphere.

Starting Fall 2025, they are excited to introduce daily French lessons, adding a valuable second (or even third) language experience to their curriculum. They also offer music classes, daily arts and crafts, ample outdoor play, and open-ended learning experiences inspired by the BC Early Learning Framework.

Their fees are affordable, with support from the BC Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative, making quality early childhood education more accessible to families.
