WFC and Burnaby Family Life welcome you to our resource café providing a physical space with community-based support, including one-on-one connection with a WFC specialist for local service referrals. While enjoying free coffee, tea, and computer access, participants can access valuable information and groups provide by WFC.
Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with one on one with Community Law Advocates who can provide information, advocacy and support with documentation and referrals on the following topics:
Income assistance
Tenancy issues
Persons with Disability (PWD) and CPP Disability (CPP-D) applications and appeals
Employment Law; Employment Insurance and Employment Standards
Worker’s Rights
Old Age Security
Debt and Consumer Law
*They do not cover strata, ICBC/motor vehicle, and personal injury matters
