Experience the Night Market at Metropolis at Metrotown
Metropolis at Metrotown’s first-ever Night Market at the Met is a vibrant and free-to-enter outdoor event inspired by the bustling hawker centres of Asia. From July 4-7, explore a dynamic mix of food vendors, live entertainment, and fun activities, making it the perfect destination for families, friends, and food enthusiasts alike.
Night Market Specialties
Attendees can savour delectable dishes from a variety of street vendors, each offering unique and flavourful creations. Options include:
- Wakwak Burgers (Japanese fusion burgers, including a deluxe teriyaki burger and Namban burger specially created for the Night Market),
- Aburi’s WA Bagel (Japanese fusion bagels, with a signature red bean and cream cheese bagel),
- Butcher’s Block BBQ (southern BBQ, with flavourful offerings like an 18-hour hickory-smoked beef brisket slider),
- Kam Wai Dim Sum (dim sum, including a fluffy and aromatic rose tea-infused bao with toasted black sesame filling),
- Bon Moment (scone sandwiches, featuring braised beef shank for the Night Market);
- La Meza Grill (Filipino tacos like lechon and pork sisig)
- and Don Oso (Mexican/Latin with quesabirria tacos).
In addition to the mouth-watering food, the Night Market offers a range of family-friendly activities, including a free photo booth with an Under the Sea backdrop; live music, a street circus, and dancers; and daily face painting and balloon-making. Shoppers can also try the Spin and Win – for every $25 spent at the night market, visitors get to spin the wheel to win a prize.
