Kathmandu World’s Biggest Hike – Guinness World Record Attempt
Join Kathmandu on Saturday, August 30th, 11 a.m. at Cypress Mountain to make history with the World’s Biggest Hike. This free, family-friendly event is a bold attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people hiking simultaneously.
Kathmandu is bringing together over 1,500 participants of all ages and abilities on a scenic four-kilometre hike of moderate terrain, climbing from the base to the Sky Chair summit. After descending on foot or by chairlift (tickets available in advance), enjoy music, informative vendors, food, and fun.
This isn’t just a hike — it’s a powerful statement about community, sustainability, and the mental and physical wellness benefits of the great outdoors. As a Certified B Corp, Kathmandu Canada is proud to partner with BC Parks Foundation, North Shore Rescue and Take a Hike Foundation to ensure the low-impact event gives back in meaningful ways.
Come ready to hike, celebrate, and make history while connecting with nature and the community! Reserve at spot here.
